We are looking for you who can help strengthen Danish processing companies for better competitiveness through innovation and the use of the latest technology - by conducting targeted research and sharing knowledge about process optimization and technological solutions.
DAMRC is on a growth journey and is now looking for more committed R&D engineers within machining, materials or processes who want to shape our developmental course and contribute to our progress.
YOUR ROLE
You will become a key person in both national and international research and development projects, where you participate from the initial idea phase to the finished result. This role gives you the opportunity to develop your skills in machining at a high international level.
Your tasks are centered and will primarily consist of:
- Participate in research and development projects that range widely within machining
- Contribute to the preparation of project applications and reports
- Work with commercial advisory services and be in close dialogue with our customers
- Communicate your knowledge in the form of professional articles as well as teaching and presentations at conferences and theme days
But we have the option to a certain extent to tailor it to your interests and skills.
YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of mechanical engineering
- Qualified mechanical engineer or machinist - recent graduates are also welcome with us
- Hands-on experience with machining is a plus (e.g. training as an industrial technician)
- In-depth knowledge of materials and their processing
- Flair for communicating and sharing knowledge to different target groups
- Strong IT skills and up-to-date mechanical engineering knowledge
- Fluent in Danish and good in written and spoken English
- Strong analytical skills

Our task is to help Danish companies succeed through innovation and the use of the latest technology. We work closely with our members, who e.g. counts several leading companies within the metal processing and machine industry.
DAMRC currently employs 21 employees, the majority of whom have a background as engineers. At the beginning of 2024, we will move to a new building in Birk near Herning.
